This is our lesson plan objective for the following lessons. We incorporated iPad activities, Smart Board activities, a Podcast, Kidsperation activity, and a iMovie to help students practice and learn math concepts.
For this lesson students will use this podcast to learn about the different values of coins and listen to a story. This podcast also gives the students directions for the when they come to class the next day. I have also provided an extra work sheet link they can practice with.
For this activity students will use the iPad to practice math word problems. The Application they will be using is Splash Math. I have also included rules the students will follow when using the iPad.
The goal of this lesson is to teach students how to use base ten blocks and learn place value while integrating technology in the form of the Kidspiration program.
The overall goal of the lesson is to teach second grade students how to tell time to the nearest hour and half-hour using an analog clock and digital clock.
